Think Kit 2013 #3, Did You Have a Unique Experience?
Ok... it's 4:30am. The coffee is hot, Hurry Up, We're Dreaming by M83 is lightly playing through the home studio  This is the time my elusive creative genius shows up, (thanks Elizabeth Gilbert.)  Actually, the music toggles between M83 and Cannonball Adderley/Miles Davis on Blue Note 1595, vinyl of course.  For those of you paying attention at home, you may even notice a slight resemblance between the design of this website and the Blue Note record.... huh, weird!

Ok, whats the topic today?  Unique Experiences!  I had one of those!  Actually a few of those, but they all fall under one category... stage four cultures. Thanks to the great people at CultureSync I had the collective unique experience of a stage four culture.  You may be asking,

"What the heck is stage four?"

Well, after reading Tribal Leadership and attending the Leadership Live event in LA, I thought stage four was an easy concept to digest, something easily read about and easy to understand.  I was completely wrong!  It's an experience.  The true understanding of what stage four is... took additional, focused training to realize the full potential.

Next, we created stage four at my current place of employment.  As a stage three software company and as a group of individuals with our own ideas, visions, dreams... our own set of motives, we achieved true alignment.  It was an absolutely remarkable experience.  Everyone on our "Core Values Team" turned out work as one collective voice with no waffling, no doubts, no behind the scenes questions.  We were a force... and people noticed!  Even people outside the day to day business environment noticed.

So, the experience of stage four was the unique experience.  It may be hard to understand, but once you do, you will never want to go back to stage three.
